New England’s newest hands-on experience, Living Shores Aquarium at Story Land, is a year round indoor walk through adventure that will captivate you! Over 32,000 sq. ft. of interactive tide pools, exhibits and activities. Touch sting rays, feed tropical birds and so much more!

Living Shores is expected to be very busy during its opening season with heavier traffic on the weekends and peak summer vacations times. Please note, bad weather days are likely to bring large crowds and entrance is not guaranteed.

We have plenty of FREE parking at Living Shores Aquarium. Guests in motor homes and campers please park across the street from /Living Shores/Story Land in North Parking Lot from Memorial Day - Columbus Day while Story Land is in operation.

Yes, seasonal Pet Kennels are available for use FREE of charge on a first come, first served basis. Kennels are available for use by Living Shores guests Memorial Day - Labor Day while Story Land is in operation. Please remember our kennels are self-service, owners are responsible for the well being of their pets. Reservations are not available for Pet Kennels. They may be found next to the train depot in the north end of our main parking lot. We have 26 kennels (16 square feet with roofs) with individual pad locks to ensure the safety of your pet. Water bowls are available for use but we recommend bringing the items your pet needs to be comfortable. To check-in your pet, visit the kennels, pick the one you would like and visit Yum Yum Junction (simply ring the doorbell) where you will be given your code.

Generally speaking, Living Shores Aquarium is geared to children between the ages of 2 and 12 but all ages are welcome!

Living Shores Aquarium is a one entry experience per ticket, exit for return later in the day will not be permitted. Quick trips to the bathroom or lockers is always permitted, exit through the retail shop for re-entry guidelines.

Platinum Passholders get free admission, any day we're open in 2022. Gold Passholders get 50% off admission between January-May, then November & December (2022). To redeem your passholder perk, just show up with your season pass and take care of it at the gate! No advanced notice needed.

To download your digital photo(s) visit and enter the number on your single purchase receipt. Digital photos can take up to 24 hours before they are available for download.

No, no food or drink is allowed on the exhibit floor. Exhibit floor experience is roughly 1 - 2 hours long, so please plan ahead!

No, pets are not allowed in the building or on the aquarium exhibit floor. Service dogs are permitted with proof of service.

At this time Wheelchairs and ECVs are not available for rent at Living Shores Aquarium. Personal wheelchairs are accommodated and our facility is ADA compliant.

Strollers are not recommended on the exhibit floor. If needed, small umbrella strollers are best. Wagons and all other carts are not permitted. Strollers cannot be parked on the exhibit floor and must be attended at all times.

If you have a group of 15 or more, submit a Group Sales Contact Request. We do not currently have event space available for use, so please refrain from bringing cake or food.

Stingray feedings and Lorikeet feedings happen on a timed schedule through the day with limited capacity each hour to maintain a healthy balance of food for our residents. When you purchase a timed feeding, you can redeem your feedings anytime during that hour. They are first come first serve, based on availability, so booking in advance guarantees availability!
